We’ve reviewed this MSI Thin GF63 before, and we liked it for the solid build quality, Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and a powerful Core i7 CPU. It weighs just over four pounds, which is pretty lightweight for a midrange gaming laptop. Additionally, it gets a robust port selection as well as a high refresh rate (144Hz) display.
With an Intel Core i5-12450H CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, 8GB RAM, and a 512GB SD storage, you should be able to play most modern titles on the Medium or High graphics preset, or even higher if your selected game supports Nvidia’s vaunted DLSS technology. For more demanding titles, we’d recommend scaling the graphics back a bit.
